Though just a 5-minute drive from the edge of town, this cabin is part new construction, and part classic mobile home that feels secluded yet conveniently located at the same time. Enter the large sunroom with many windows to find a light and airy sitting area and casual dining spot. Also on this same level is a bright and cheerful bedroom with beautiful views of the four-acre forested setting. Step up to the next level and make yourself at home in the family room with beautiful views. An interesting three-sided fireplace with gas logs separates the living room from the eat-in kitchen. Watching your favorite show on the 50" LED TV, equipped with local channels and netflix, and DVD, or reading the latest issue of the local newspaper, "The Brown County Democrat" is a relaxing way to spend a lazy morning. Cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or outdoors on the charcoal grill will take care of one's hunger pains but remember how we said you're only 5 minutes from town? Here's a phrase we've found to work well when the spirit's willing but the flesh is weak: "Honey, please. Take the keys. Get pepperoni & extra cheese!" If you're having a Girls' Getaway, or bringing the kids along, there's a second bedroom just down the hall from the eat in kitchen, as well as a nice bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen size beds and are outfitted with comfy linens. Off the hallway is a door leading out to the deck, where you will find the hot tub and the fire-pit area where everyone can enjoy pastimes such as campfire stories and marshmallow toasting. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to the West Gate of our beautiful Brown County State Park. Nationally known for challenging mountain biking trails, the State Park also offers an outdoor swimming pool, horseback riding, a Nature Center, and lots of pretty roadside vistas with picnic tables just waiting for you and your picnic lunch.
