Sweet standalone backyard guesthouse, quiet South Capitol district downtown Santa Fe. 2 blocks to groceries/restaurants; 6 blocks to historic Santa Fe plaza shops and eateries (5 minute walk) and downtown museums (15 minute walk); central to Canyon Rd galleries, Farmers Market, Railyard Arts District (10 minute walk). **This is a NO PET property; please no dog or animal inquiries.** The space Tasteful furniture, full-size appliances, and Sealy mattress, standing iron and ironing board. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and outfitted with full-size refrigerator/freezer, full-size stove and oven, pots and pans, dishes, French press, tea kettle, and the like. Walnut plank wood flooring in the living/dining room and bedroom, tile in kitchen and bath, whitewashed pine ceilings throughout. The casita has a private patio with two sets of glass doors--one each opening into the living/dining area and bedroom. Bedroom has double curtains, so you can make your sleeping space as sunny or as cozy as you like. One parking spot for guests is available in the driveway directly in front of the casita; additional street parking is also available. We live in the main house next door, and look forward to sharing our casita with you and all that Santa Fe has to offer. Low key family-friendly area makes this a good casita for reading, sleeping, working, or winding down after a day of exploring. A small shaded portal with bistro table and chairs is ready for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine. Guest access Private casita, private patio, dedicated parking space, and shared backyard (shared with main house owners only). Other things to note Are you thinking of visiting Georgia O’Keeffe’s home in Abiquiu during your visit? Please note tours are reservation-only and are often fully booked 4-6 months out. A good alternative is to drive a couple more miles to Ghost Ranch and hike in the places that inspired her paintings! You can also visit the O’Keeffe visitors’ center in Abiquiu or the museum right here in Santa Fe. (Advance tickets recommended.)
