Description
Hat Island is a private island north of Seattle & ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY WALK-ON FERRY or private boat. [FOOT FERRY NOW RESTRICTED TO OWNERS. We can provide info about private transport but ultimately up to you.] Guests enjoy the most beautiful beachfront house and setting in the islands. Host meets you at the dock and transports you and stuff to the house. No commercial activity on island. Enjoy kayaking, golfing, sunsets, clamming, crabbing, beach combing. The space Once you arrive on the Island, you will be greeted at the docks by our on-island host to transport you to the house. You will enjoy a supremely quiet, private, and unique adventure on Hat Island. Our no-bank beach-front home has won several architectural accolades, and offers breathtaking 180' views of Whidbey and Camano Islands and the Olympic mountains and ferries. The architect-designed home has two wings - a common room and a sleeping wing - all connected by a Tigerwood deck, with 3 ocean view balconies. The glass walled kitchen and common room has wall-size sliding doors, providing great views open or closed. There is a fireplace, Wifi, stereo with CD player and Aux cable, indoor/outdoor Bose speakers, small TV with DVD player, DVD library, Legos, games, puzzles, and books for kids and grown-ups. Fully appointed gourmet kitchen with bamboo cabinetry, granite counter tops and stainless appliances look out over the beach to the ocean. Laundry facilities on main floor. Duvet covered down comforters for all seasons and top quality mattresses. Great cell coverage and Internet. o Enjoy activities such as kayaking, walking, swimming, paddle boarding, crabbing, clamming, scuba diving, golfing, beach combing, small boating, fishing, bird watching, berry picking or just relaxing with a good book and enjoying the eagles, herons, whales, sea otters and sunsets. o Maximum six guests. Minimum rental June 15 to September 15 is 3 nights; remainder of the year two night minimum. No rentals Dec-Feb. o Signing of a contract to rent is required to finalize booking, at which time we will also send you information about parking, golfing, crabbing, the ferry, maps and house system information. Guest access NOTICE FOR HAT ISLAND HOMEOWNERS: Please note that if you own a home on Hat island, our contract requires three important things: 1) that you list all registered guests on our Confirmation Page of the signed contract and promise that no one other than registered guests will be on the premises at any time. There is a camera on the exterior of the house and a fine of $200 per extra person, per 24-hour period, for any unregistered guests on the premises will be strictly enforced; and 2) island home owners may not borrow our vehicle; and 3) the entire group of registered guests must arrive at the marina or the house at the same time and meet with our island host before checking in. Other things to note - All guests must replace outdoor items under dry area of house before departure - All guests must and take their trash and recycling home with them - no on-island options for disposal. -All guests must follow burn ban and fire rules or will be asked to leave. -No guests on the premises unless listed on the contract and registered with the Home Owner's Association.
