Pilot Knob Retreat is a very spacious 3 story home with bedrooms both upstairs and on walk-in level. Downstairs is a large rec room with it's own kitchenette and patio. The rec room has 3 futon beds and makes a great place for the teenagers to hang out! Just off of the patio there is a custom fire pit that makes sitting under the stars an event to remember. Another fun feature is the Crow's Nest located on top of the house! It can be accessed from the top floor. Pilot Knob Retreat is located at the end of a gravel road in a very secluded location. You will be surrounded with nature and spectacular mountain views. The home is located just 10 minutes from downtown Harrison, AR. Pilot Knob Retreat is perfectly located to allow you to take in some of the wonderful area attractions while you are here! The most widely known are the Ozark National Forest and Buffalo National River (25 min) which offers some of the country's best hiking and climbing; the lovely Eureka Springs, AR which offers a culture rich experience of art, music & food that you're sure to enjoy (45 min) and Branson, MO which is one of the nation's premier entertainment destinations(35 min)! This area is also know for great fishing and scenic byways that offer some of the best motorcycle rides in the country. ATTENTION MOTORCYCLISTS: The gravel road is 1 mile. The first 1/2 of the road is maintained by county it’s in pretty good shape it’s not very steep or curvy. The second half my husband maintains it and it is in really good shape but it is steep and it does have a couple or three curves. I have several groups of motorcyclist every year. Be sure to check out the reviews mentioning the road to see what others have said. We have a Kabota RTV for anyone to use that does not want to ride the road from our house on up, we do have covered parking for you to park your bikes at our house.
