Sleeping 8, this home sits in a gated community along the New River Gorge. The master bedroom with queen bed boasts of a vaulted ceiling and is on the main floor. A second bedroom upstairs has another queen bed and shares a full bath on the same floor with the third bedroom which has two sets of bunk beds. There is a pull out couch to complete the sleeping arrangements The airy kitchen opens into the great room -a room with vaulted ceilings, a loveseat, a pull out queen sized couch and a gas fireplace. As far as the location of the home, we've visited the area a number of times and love the small town of Fayetteville, white water rafting, zip-lining, and especially hiking - the fact that we can go for a hike by walking out our front door and be at an NPS trail is the best! This house is great for 2 families, and this property is close to the white water rafting and zip-lining. And if jumping off a bridge is your thing, or if you want to just watch the other crazy people, you'll get a great view from the neighborhood overlook. Enjoy the quite back yard, grill out, and eat on the spacious back deck. Hot tub just off the back deck. The are a number of fantastic hiking trails in the community as well as an outcropping with amazing views of the bridge. We are about a 10 minute drive to Adventures on the Gorge, our favorite place to go zip-lining and pick up white water rafting. This house sits high up on a large wooded 1 acre lot. We named this property after a nearby trail, the Kaymoor Trail. The two parts of the trail together make for a vigorous hike - especially if you choose to take the 810 steps to the bottom of the mine (and then have to take that same 810 steps back up!).
