Country Roads Inn- Huge Cape Cod style home in a partially wooded setting adjacent to River Riders Adventure Resort with evening sunset views, a hot tub, huge yard and lots of space for your group. Twin kitchens, cookware, dining space for 20 and a full finished basement mean plenty of place for your group to gather. 2 story cape cod home with full finished basement with second kitchen and seating area. Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders which allows for excellent access to the tubing runs. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home. Guest will be able to access the entire main home, basement and laundry room. There is a separate rental apartment and garage on site that are not available to guests where a staff member lives. We have staff on duty seven days a week in season during business hours. Emergency contact numbers are also provided. A fee may be assessed for after hours calls. We have some exciting news, during October-December 2022, there will be construction progressing on the lot in front of the home for River Riders' new Tubing hill that will open in the winter of 2023. The rear of the home and hot tub are still private. We hope it will not affect your stay , but you will be able to see the construction progressing and may occasionally hear sounds from the equipment. We are very excited and hope you enjoy your stay!The home is located just outside the town of Harpers Ferry adjacent to River Riders Family Adventure Resort and convenient to US Rt 340. River Riders and School House Ridge Battlefield of Harpers Ferry National Park are all within reasonable walking distance. A trail also leads to the Shenandoah River nearby. Hollywood Casino at Charles Town is 4 miles away. Customs and Boarder Protection Advanced Training Center(CBP ATC) is 1 mile away. Lots of on-site parking is available. Guests will typically want to have a car. Transportation can also be arranged with Varsity Travel or River Riders next door for brewery and winery tours or trips to the casino (fee may be charged.) There may be a 3 or more night minimum over all Holiday Periods and other peak times. Property is adjacent to River Riders for convenient access to that and the Harpers Ferry Campground. All amenities like bikes, canoes, kayaks, and rafts are available at River Riders next door for a fee. Snow tubing operations will occur near the home during the winter months. There is also a hiking trail to the Shenandoah River nearby. Hollywood Casino is 4 miles away. Refunds will not be given because of a routine mechanical failure of any device in the home. While we regularly maintain the homes, things break. We will make every effort to repair any item as quickly as possible, but we will not offer refunds for the failure of a device or ammenity in / at the home. Tesla charger is located at River Riders about 50 yards from the home that is Free for guests to use.
