Haven In The Heights...Steps Away From It All!!

Location, Location, Location! Welcome to our delightful two bedroom one bath bungalow located literally just steps away from all of the fabulous restaurants and shops on N. Prospect in Peoria Heights. We are located just 5 minutes from US Route 150 with easy access to Interstate 74 and 15 minutes from downtown Peoria. In addition, we are 20 minutes from Peoria Airport. If you want to be in the center of it all, book your stay here! The space We have created a home away from home for our family and friends and now extend it to you! Each bedroom features a full size bed with designer bedding. In addition to this, there is a comfortable couch in the living room if needed to sleep on. Our kitchen has everything you would need for a short or extended stay including a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. We also have a Keurig coffee machine with the assorted accoutrements needed for a fresh brewed cup of coffee or tea. During your stay you are welcome to sit outside on our lovely covered porch and relax and enjoy the ambience of the charming neighborhood. We have a convenient parking spot in our driveway, and there is also plenty of additional street parking. You can also rest assure that we are taking extra care to disinfect our space to the highest degree. History of Our Street: Duryea Avenue is named after Charles Duryea who engineered the first American gasoline powered automobile. The Duryea bothers won America’s first car race with their car in 1895. Soon after that in 1898, Charles Duryea incorporated Duryea Manufacturing Co. in Peoria Heights, and one of his early vehicles can be found on display at the Peoria Riverfront Museum in downtown Peoria. Guest access While staying at our property you will have access to our private driveway. To access the driveway, there is an alley and less of a steep incline if you enter the alley from the North and then turn right into the driveway. In addition, you will receive a keycode that is changed constantly in order to enter the house. Other things to note OUR CLEANING PROCESS You can rest assured, we take the utmost care thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting our home. My husband and I are in healthcare and take the utmost care in sanitizing and disinfecting our home. We use hospital grade cleaning products that are virucidal, germicidal, and bactericidal. We also supply disinfecting/sanitizing products and hand sanitizer as well. Our checkout time is technically 11am and check in is 3pm so we have at the very least 4 hours to prepare for you and even more if the previous guests check out early.
