The house utilities can't accommodate more than 25 guests. Wifi is fast thanks to Starlink. So wifi phone calls (smartphone) work well. Cell calls can sometimes drop. In the event of snow or ice, the back deck will be closed for safety reasons. But we have a large covered patio under the deck that is always available. If the snow is too deep and the house is not accessible, you will be given a full refund. If you smoke anything inside the house you will be fined. This is a cabin in the woods, so despite our best efforts, you may see insects. Lastly, this home is off-grid, which means we produce and store all our energy. We are also on well and septic. Energy is not unlimited, therefore summer thermostats are set at 74 and winter at 70. We appreciate any energy saving efforts, such as turning off items not being used, keeping showers short, running appliances (washer, DW) early in the day time, and closing windows when air is on.
