Beachfront Spacious 3-Bedroom Condo in Rodadero

Discover Rodadero and Santa Marta from our wonderful beach-front apartment. Look out your window on to the crystal blue Caribbean sea and step out to take a dip if it takes your fancy. Spend your evenings soaking up the vibrant Caribbean culture and try some of the local delicacies that you just wont find at home. All in all, if you are going to come to the Caribbean, it makes sense to stay overlooking the beach and the beautiful ocean! The space Our spacious apartment offers 3 air conditioned bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom and shower. It comfortably sleeps 10. The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to dine in, and the seating area overlooking the beach and ocean is simply a wonderful place to sit back and relax. It really is ideal for anyone with friends and/or family who are looking to spend time on the beach and relax in the evenings. The apartment has over 116 meters in internal space which should allow you and your family to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Guest access The apartment is completely independent and private for you and your family. Upon check-in, the building sells wristbands per person for 10,000 pesos (children under 5 do not need them). This is for the security of those entering and allowing them to identify their guests. One-time payment via QR code or bank transfer. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. If the area is full, there are affordable and reliable parking lots. Other things to note From having travelled extensively and used AirBnB all over the world, we do our best to make sure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Because of that we are relatively flexible on check-in and departure times, provided that there are not guests departing or arriving on the same day when we need to stick to the times as listed. We also make a point of mentioning all the small details so there are no surprises when you arrive. From experience, we know that there is nothing worse than being confronted with situations that your are not expecting after a day on the road. The apartment is set in a low movement boutique building, but the administration rules ask that every guest pay a one time amount of 7,000 COP ($1.75 USD) on arrival. This helps ensure that only registered guests can stay in the building, which is for to ensure your privacy. Only guests that have registered before arrival will be permitted entry, again to ensure privacy for all guests. This is quite normal for most buildings in Santa Marta. The three bedrooms are fully airconditioned and while the living area has an AC unit, it is not currently available for stays. However, that should be of little worry if you plan to spend your days relaxing on the beach or touring the surrounding areas. There are also a number of portable fans in the apartment in case you feel they are needed. The internet and WIFI are ready to go and the passwords are revealed by AirBnB once you have reserved. And of course Netflix is waiting for you for those evenings you and the family decide to stay home. There is unallocated Parking Available in the Building but only 15 spaces for the 36 Condos, so its unfortunately a case of first-come first served and one vehicle per condo. That said, no need to fret as there is plenty of on-street parking nearby and also well priced paid and secure parking literally around the corner. Unfortunately, the building is not really suited for wheelchair accessibility. While there is a speedy and modern elevator, the design of the building is that it stops "mid-floor" which means you have to descend a series of 8 to 10 steps to access the apartment. I feel embarrassed to say it, but here is little we can do about this as it is the building design, which while beautiful and very original, did not take wheelchair accessibility into consideration. All in all the building is wonderfully located in front of the beach and extremely receptive to guest stays. But its important that you are fully informed in making your decision on reserving, and also that you know what to expect on arrival.
