FREE FIREWOOD. Our pool is now closed for the winter but our HOT TUB remains OPEN! Relax on 7 acres of total privacy! Sip your coffee by the stream, snooze in the hammock; stroll in the woods or hop to town in 5 minutes for shopping, dining & fun! (GREAT for kids: we have ping-pong, a basketball net, a vintage doll house with furniture!). Our backyard is fenced in. The space Treat yourself to something special in the heart of Woodstock! Our home is located on 7 acres, down a private road and nestled amongst ferns, beautiful woods and next to a running stream. Our backyard is fenced in. This stunning hand-made, "Woodstock Craftsman" style architectural home features beautiful wood beams and local bluestone floors throughout the entire home. There are 3 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. There is also a fold-down couch that becomes a Queen bed in our den. The house is spacious and divides into two wings. Each wing is complete with its own living area and bedrooms, to ensure complete privacy and plenty of room to spread out. The main living room/dining room features a wall of huge windows overlooking the pool and the woods. Our reclaimed-wood dining table seats 8; our big L sectional sofa faces our Catskill stone fireplace. Wood beams run overhead, with a high ceiling. Our second living room, the "Library", features a soaring ceiling and tall windows, with a second fireplace (not for use) outfitted with a HDTV. We have a full selection of cable tv channels as well as Apple TV (use your own ID's/passwords to watch Netflix and Amazon). The master bedroom, overlooks the garden and pool, and has a king-size bed with a new luxury mattress and bedding. It features a spacious, light-filled, en suite bathroom with a spa tub. The second bedroom, our "Skylight" bedroom, is located in a sun-filled room that sits above the main living room and overlooks the stream. It features a queen bed with a new luxury mattress and bedding. Let the soothing sounds of the gentle stream lull you to sleep, as you gaze up at the stars through the sky light! The third bedroom has two twin beds which can also be put together to form a single queen bed. This bedroom features a private entrance to the pool, hot tub and garden! A Queen-size sofa bed is also available in the Den, which is a common area off of the main living room. A hidden feature: In case of a power outage -- which are not uncommon here in the mountains -- our propane generator will power the entire house! Come and enjoy a special time! Guest access You will be renting the entire house. Enjoy your own private 7 acres with a pool (in season) and hot tub (all year). Relax by the stream and let the cares slip away. Other things to note If you have toddlers, please let us know when you inquire so we can determine whether or not our home is suitable. Our insurance policy requires that we have a signed Rental Agreement prior to the stay. It's a standard rental contract and the verbiage is almost identical to what's under "House Rules" in our listing here. In Winter season, we strongly recommend that you have an all-wheel-drive vehicle in case of snow or ice. While we do have the road plowed after any significant snowfall, we cannot refund due to road conditions.
