Welcome to The Hydeaway Retreat! Nestled in historic Hyde Park, this home offers an open-concept layout perfect for relaxing or gathering with friends & family. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs! With room to sleep six guests, every detail has been considered to make your stay enjoyable. Step outside to unwind in the charming backyard—an ideal spot to sip your morning coffee or wind down after a day of exploring Austin. We hope you’ll create unforgettable memories here! The space BEDROOMS: There are 2 bedrooms, both include a Queen size bed. The couch converts to 2 twin beds. The home sleeps 6 comfortably. BATHROOM: There is one bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. The bathroom has 2 sinks. We provide shampoo (Pantene), conditioner (Pantene), and body wash (Olay). Plush towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup towels, hairdryer. There is also a full length mirror on the back of the bathroom door. KITCHEN/HOUSE BASICS PROVIDED: Fully equipped kitchen for cooking just about any meal you would like to prepare. There are 4 USB ports outlets on the island for the convenience of charging your devices. Coffee, tea, water bottles, salt and pepper, sugar, splenda and olive oil are provided. We provide other household basics, including spices, olive oil, K-cups, tea, sugar, creamer, paper towels (Bounty), baggies, saran wrap, aluminum foil, dish soap (Dawn), dishwasher tabs (Cascade), hand soap, toilet paper (Charmin), laundry detergent (Tide), and garbage bags. Appliances include a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and blender . We also have a selection of cookware, bakeware, kitchen utensils, tupperware, and serving dishes. WORKSPACE: There is a desk in the open living room to use for multiple purposes. You can work comfortably there. We have strong WiFi so you can always be connected if needed. You can also use the space to comfortably blow dry your hair and put on your makeup for a fun evening out. TELEVISIONS: There are 3 TVs (One TV in the living area and one in each bedroom) all have Roku devices attached so you can sign into any of the apps you like to enjoy. We will send you the wifi password the day of your stay. IMPORTANT DETAILS: NO SMOKING/VAPING: Please respect this rule. NO PARTIES: We love a good time, but let's keep it neighbor-friendly. NO PETS: Unfortunately, we can not accommodate pets. QUIET HOURS: This is a neighborhood. We ask you to respect the neighbors by observing quite hours from 10pm-8am. SECURITY: One outdoor doorbell camera to ensure your safety and peace of mind. It is located at the front door. WILDLIFE: We do regular pest control, but Mother Nature is always around and is especially hard to control in the outdoor spaces. Guest access You can arrive anytime after 4:00 pm on the day of your check-in. We will send you a code for the door the day of your stay. Other things to note Parking - Driveway can accommodate 1 large vehicle or 2 standard sized vehicles. There is also street parking as available.
