Each of the eight guest rooms and suites is decorated to showcase the hand-crafted beds that were made by a local artisan using native Michigan trees. Though the Inn features vintage and unique décor and furniture, you will be provided with classic comfort including luxury linens and immaculate rooms. Each room/suite includes a king or queen luxurious bed, private bathroom with double jacuzzi tub or marble barrier-free showers, gas fireplace, and large streaming tv. Total 8 bedrooms and 9 full baths. Guests may also enjoy the hiking trails through the woods, borrow our canoes or kayaks on our river with our onsite launch, play on our large play set (featuring swings, a slide, and climbing walls), borrow bikes to ride through the area, or play some of our yard games including badminton, bags, bocce, or horseshoes. Come relax in our heated pool (open all year) and hot tub right next to our farm field. The Barn is attached to the pool area and features ping pong, a pool table, an arcade game system, with bathrooms. The Pool and Barn spaces are shared with our other accommodations. We have an organic farm, green house, fruit and nut orchard, hiking trails, and lots of woods to explore. The property is located just one mile from Lake Michigan. Our 30 secluded acres offer a bit of quiet amongst the bustle of Harbor Country's busy summers. An entire day can be spent just on our property, kayaking or canoeing in the Galien River or hiking our trails. On our organic farm, we grow a little bit of everything that Michigan has to offer. Keep us in mind for your larger group rental for corporate/non-profit/wellness retreats, family reunions, small weddings, or elopements. Goldberry Woods features an 8+ bedroom Inn, 3 cottages (3 or 4 bedrooms), and two vintage campers. In total, we can accommodate up to 50 so overnight guests and up to 75 for group events in the Barn. The 4 bedroom/4 bath River’s Edge House features over 2,900 sq ft with river/woods views and sleeps 8-14+ people. The 3 bedroom/2 bath Creekside cottage features 1,300 sq ft of space with creek/woods views and sleeps 6-8 guests. The 3 bedroom/2 bath Deerpath cottage features 1,600 sq ft of space with creek/woods views and sleeps 4-6 guests (available select dates). The vintage campers are tucked at the edge of the woods and have quiet, secluded sites (available May - Oct). All cottages include fireplaces and screened porches, and cottages and vintage campers feature fire pits with free firewood and Weber gas grills. The heated pool overlooks the farm and is attached to a new barn-style venue for large groups, such as weddings, family reunions, yoga retreats, etc. Barn spaces include heat and A/C, bathrooms, catering kitchen, pool table, ping pong table, and arcade game system--all accessible for your guests unless rented for private use. The entire pool area is enclosed for the winter inside of a greenhouse (gets really warm in the sun all winter long) and the enclosure is opened in May. Come and swim all winter long. Guest access Be a part of our journey as we continue to expand our organic, biodiverse organic farm. Depending on the season, you may find cherries, raspberries, blueberries, apples, and pears along side a crop of chestnuts! You are welcome to pick anything you would like to eat out of hand. A u-pick is normally available for blueberries and raspberries. Other things to note Guests are expected to treat the home as their own. If there is any damage to the home by the guests, then we charge accordingly. If the damage is significant and results in the cancellation of any subsequent reservations, then the guests will be charged for those reservations as well.
