Description

Apartment with a garden in the seaside villa district of Gdynia: Orłowie, on the border with Sopot. Discover our apartments, where history meets comfort. Explore the heritage of this place, relax by the sea and enjoy easy access to the center of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk. Freshly ground coffee and bicycles await our guests. We are one kilometer from the beach in Orłowo, and you can reach Gdynia or Sopot in fifteen minutes. The space Welcome, we are extremely pleased that you have come across our Gdyński Dworek. Let us introduce our place to you in a few words. About the place: Młynarzowy Dworek is a guest house located halfway between Sopot and Gdynia, in the Orłowo villa district. Here, among the nineteenth-century buildings, we decided to prepare places for our Guests. Each of our apartments has a separate entrance from the Manor Garden. In the courtyard you will find a table under a linden tree, perfect for a shared breakfast, a gazebo for an evening toast, a fireplace on the well, allowing you to arrange a delicious barbecue, as well as a swing for the youngest guests. You can stock up for every culinary journey at the Orłowski Market (300 meters from the Manor House), Delikatesy Kultura Smaku (600 meters from the Manor House), or at a larger grocery store within a kilometer of us. You will be about 1 kilometer from the beach in Orłowo, less than a kilometer from the Fast Urban Railway station (which will take you to Sopot or Gdynia in 7 minutes, and a little over 20 to Gdańsk), and free bicycles are at your disposal. On our bicycles, you can easily reach any of the major points of the Tri-City. We often use this form of transport instead of a car, so we can advise you. Also, if you would like to organize a short cruise around the Gulf of Gdansk, we will be happy to advise you. We have prepared a tourist and culinary guide in Google My Maps, which are sent to our Guests after booking. About the apartment: The apartment is heated and cooled by a floor heat pump, equipped with a kitchenette. An electric coffee maker with freshly ground coffee, delivered by our Swedish friends, will also be waiting for you here. In the bathroom you will find a brick shower cabin with a stone-lined shower tray. The apartment itself is located in the shade of spruces, which we call palm trees, which means a respite on hot summer days, as well as a place offering full privacy on the terrace in front of the apartment, illuminated and equipped with a coffee table, bench and armchairs. What could your day in the Tri-City look like? After waking up, you go out in front of the apartment, the stone pavement of the courtyard is still slightly cool after the night. You are looking for birds that, hidden in the branches of linden trees, have been making themselves known for a good while, sometimes even drowning out the noise of the nearby street. Your gaze falls on the porch of the historic house, from which the Host emerges, you see him bustling in the garden, talking to the Guests, or stretched out on his deck chair, devoted to working on his laptop. He will probably tell you how this deck chair saved him from being thrown away. You return to the apartment, find refreshment. Walking on the stones of the shower base, you plan a breakfast menu. The market is very close, but you liked that black bike with a basket, so you choose it as a companion for your morning errands. When you return, you prepare a meal, maybe a Crete salad with tomatoes from farmers and feta from Greek delicacies? No matter what, it's important that you eat in the garden. You set the coffee, thinking that your departure time will be slightly delayed again, but for a few days now it has stopped worrying you too much. It now remains to arrange a plan of the day so as to have a good time before the evening visit to the studio cinema. Maybe a book on the beach? Maybe an emigration museum? Maybe a bike escapade to the Gdańsk Shipyard, or a coffee at the yacht marina in Gdynia? It's all up to you, dinner for sure in this tapas bar recommended by the hosts, it was brilliant! In the evening, a short walk to the city railway station awaits you, which will take you on a trip to Gdańsk. There, you chose the OFF studio cinema and a film that is no longer played in multiplexes. You are surprised by the presence of a bar in the cinema hall, only a few unnumbered seats and the fact that no one checked the tickets. After the movie, you go to the restaurant above the cinema hall, where you are delighted by an appetizer as simple as a thick slice of bread baked on the spot with salted butter. It was a good day. Guest access The entire apartment, with an area of 26 sqm, as well as the Manor's garden, are at your disposal.
