The wooden detailing in the oak-paneled drawing room was carved by Indonesian soldiers and the log fire is lit during the winter months. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in public areas. Corfe’s castle is a Grade I listed building and is also just a 5-minute walk from Mortons House. Free private parking is provided and the beautiful Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, can be reached after 10 minutes’ drive. Rooms are either located in the original manor house, or have castle views. Located in the cozy eaves of the 16th Century Manor House, the original exposed ceiling beams and mullioned windows ooze charm. The bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed and beautiful views of Corfe Castle from the dormer window. A separate lounge (with optional pull out sofa bed) also has views of Corfe Castle. The bathroom has a classical appeal containing a P-shaped bath and shower. This room has heaps of character but perhaps not suitable for the taller person as there are low ceilings.
