River Rock Cottage, Marietta, OH

Our homey cottage will comfortably accommodate 7 guests. (Please look at all photos to see bedroom set up and explanation.) The twin bedroom is a middle pass-through room that allows access to the upstairs bath from the other bedrooms. We are located on a tree lined street and 1 block away from the Historic Harmar District & Marietta, Ohio. We are Within walking distance of trails, restaurants & touring, antiquing & boutiquing. The space River Rock Cottage is your "home away from home." Everything that you need is provided for you. A fully stocked kitchen; bedrooms and bath with all your essential needs; decorated in a "cottage, rustic, primitive" style which includes newly refinished hardwood floors. A nice front porch is the perfect place for a hot cup of coffee or cocoa and place to enjoy the fresh small town scents of the season and breathe in the clean air! Guest access Our guests have access to an entire home, including a front porch and a large deck on the back with seating and a picnic table. We do have a large gas grill. Other things to note The historic Harmar District is one block away. You can obtain a brochure and do a walking tour, literally in the neighborhood. Marietta was the first settlement in the Northwest Territory and has a beautiful Museum, Campus Martius, as well as many other historical buildings. Very close by, you can ride a boat to historic Blennerhasset Island and tour the buildings there. Parkersburg, WV also boasts of many historic places. There is also Grand Central Mall for those who enjoy more modern shopping.
