Beach Cottage by the Sea

Beautiful 1920's beach cottage with beach access just across the street. Enjoy the sea breeze, ocean views, and sound of the waves lapping in this quaint home with unique architecture. Ten minutes to downtown New Haven and Yale for great places to eat, museums, and nightlife. Public beach and playground nearby. Warm and welcoming community. Master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and deck with views of the sea. Central Air, Cable TV, outdoor grill, plenty of parking. Enjoy this lovely home! The space Unique architecture in this quaint and spacious home. New hardwood floors throughout the house. Modern and antique boho design. Very welcoming beach community. The house has views of the water, and is only one house back from the beach. Beach access point is right across the street. There is also a public beach and park about two blocks away. Classic 'fish and chips' restaurant also just two blocks away. There is also a sunset walk along the waterway next to the house. Great place for families to visit. Guest access The whole house is available to guests, including the front yard, driveway, and fenced-in back yard. The shed is not available for guest use. A section of the large closet in the guest bedroom is used for storage and is not available for guest use. Other things to note COVID practices and policies: We sanitize all possible surfaces after each stay, including: wiping down surfaces, cleaning all linens (duvets included - this is a regular part of our cleaning as well), putting pillows through the dryer on high heat AND rotating them between stays, and rotating blankets between stays. We also leave the windows open for as long as possible between stays to air out the house as much as possible. For surfaces that are hard to disinfect, such as the couch, we recommend bringing your own sheets to put down on the couch, or ask us to provide extra. While staying with us, please do your best to keep the house Covid-free and safe for other guests. If you have any Covid-like symptoms we ask that you get tested before your stay, and please ask to cancel if you suspect you may have Covid (even if its last minute - we will give you a full refund if you have Covid, or other important Covid-related reasons).
