Perched on the hilltop of a 4ha estate on Gili Gede, the villa has 360-degree uninterrupted views of a truly unique & untouched part of the world. The 18m infinity pool glistens in the rising sun, whilst a string of jewel-like islands dots the surrounding turquoise waters. Spacious and serene the villa is a perfect escape from busy city lives. While away hours reading on the private white sand beach; paddle board, snorkel the nearby coral reefs or bike around the island. Free wifi. Comp. b'fast. The space With its contemporary architecture & flat roof, the 500m2 villa is open on both sides allowing for a constant, natural breeze-through. Living, dining, and sitting areas are large & open-plan. The colour palette is neutral with accents reflecting the surrounding elements of sea, sand, and mountains. Floors are polished concrete detailed with brass strips adding to the sleek and elegant finish. All bedrooms are king-size with large marble ensuites and dressing areas. Guests are offered a choice of linen - silky-soft Bamboo sheets or fine quality 400TC cool, crisp cotton sheets. A choice of pillows also - feather-light white goose down or non-allergenic microfiber pillows. Each bedroom is equipped with its own satellite flat-screen TV and DVD player. Private safes have been installed for personal belongings. Guest access Our golf buggy is available at any time to transport you from the hilltop villa to our private beach or it's a 2-minute walk down the hill. There are no cars on Gili Gede but getting around the island is easy - either by pushbike or on foot. We provide pushbikes free of charge and there are a number of tracks to follow - visit one of the local fishing villages or warungs (eating house). If you feel like exploring the nearby islands, let our boatman take you island-hopping for the day - pack a picnic and snorkel some of the most spectacular coral reefs in the region! For a late afternoon drink, laze beachside at Beach-Box Cafe & Bar under the coconut trees, or enjoy a game of bouche in the sand. Other things to note Living on a remote, tropical island requires a little forward planning (on our part) - all of our supplies and fresh produce come across from Lombok or Bali. For this reason, we arrange your lunch and dinner menus prior to your arrival. We will provide sample menus for you to choose from, or our chef can create alternatives if you prefer or have special dietary requirements. Our manager and chef live on the estate when guests are staying at the villa, with daily kitchen, housekeeping, and security staff all on hand to ensure your stay with us is as relaxing and comfortable as possible.
