You’ll have front row seats to the first sunrise on earth. Please note that we do not allow pets in our Zen Cabins for the comfort of all guests. The space We are a locally owned and operated business on the stunning East Cape of Aotearoa, New Zealand. It had to be destiny that lead us (Shanti and Nathan) away from the big city and into the arms of a very humble campground. Since acquiring Tatapouri in 2019 we have dreamed of transforming it into a space which could encompass all of our passions; creative expression, nature appreciation, connection, good food and community. After years of hard work and lots of fun along the way, that dream is now a reality. We are grateful to be here, waking up to the world’s first sunrise each morning and sharing the beauty of this land with everyone.
