Solitaire Roadhouse

Bordering the Namib-Naukluft National Park, this country lodge in Solitaire offers spacious rooms that face the central courtyard with its swimming pool. There is an on-site restaurant and BBQ facilities. Stone floors give the guest accommodations an African touch. Each includes coffee/tea facilities, a seating area, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Breakfast is served daily in Solitaire’s restaurant with its open fireplace and large windows. The owner also sells homemade bread and apple pie. Solitaire is the only village with a gasoline station and post office between the dunes at Sossusvlei and the coast at Walvis Bay. The lodge can also provide fuel and tire repairs. These rooms have 2 double beds and 2 single beds and are equipped with air conditioners, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and private bathroom with shower. Maximum occupancy is 4 (see Hotel Policies). Extra mattress can be requested and may be charged separately.
