This pet friendly* 1300 sqft. modern home is built directly on the beach and has large picture windows bringing in stunning views of the Hood Canal fjord, the Olympic Mountains, amazing wildlife and, rainbows. The high tide goes all the way up to the housewater; it feels like you are on a houseboat! The home is spacious, bright, modern and very comfortable. The bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable Tuft & Needle California King bed and a Queen sofa bed. The master bathroom has a large shower and soaking tub with views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains (be prepared for spa vibes!) There is a spacious balcony with comfortable chairs, sun chairs, and a motorized awning and infrared heater for added comfort. For babies and toddler we have a Pack N' Play crib. The downstairs has a fully stocked kitchen with quality cookware & appliances, a high table with 4 chairs, a 70" smart TV with a wide entertainment system (Cable, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, Disney+, and sound system), a Natuzzi sofa and swivel arm chair, gas fireplace, and a work station. For sleeping downstairs, there is an inflatable queen bed and single pull out bed. Just outside on the lower level there is a private patio with an outdoor 4 person table, a private hot tub, private wood fire pit, and sun chairs. A pretty vegetation privacy wall provides privacy from the other rental. The dock, kayaks and paddle boards are shared between the two rental properties. Life vests for infants, children and adults are available. We are located along the 'Gold Coast' of Hood Canal that is known for its spectacular sunsets, Olympic Mountain views and rainbows. Neighbors include Bill Gates and the Nordstrom's along with Alderbrook Resort (you have full access to the resort except for their swimming pool). A car is necessary to get around. Seattle is an easy 40-minute drive and a nice 60-minute ferry ride away. Grocery stores (Safeway, QFC, Fred Meyers) are within 20 minutes in either direction (Belfair or Shelton). This home is ideal for up to 4 people. Pet policy: Pets are allowed with the host's approval. Fee is $15 per pet per night. The indoors is child safe (baby gate is available at the top of the stairs) whereas the outdoors is safe for older children with supervision. The kitchen is fully stocked and we provide salt, pepper, olive oil, various seasonings, coffee, creamer and sugar, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, baking sheet; a large selection of utensils, pots and pans; blender, toaster, cutting boards, knives, ice machine, convection oven, and full sized appliances.
