Lakefront home with stunning views

Contemporary, artist-designed home directly on Lake Dunmore. Enjoy 4 seasons of fun at this new house with screened porch and waterfront stone patio, nestled against the Green Mountains, close to Middlebury College and all Vermont attractions. The space This house is modern, energy-efficient, and designed and decorated by an artist. It's full of distinctive details, whimsy, and color. The house is designed for comfortable living, entertaining, and easy access to the remarkable setting. A cook's kitchen features an induction stovetop, a large, farmhouse sink, and soapstone countertops. The dining room seats 6 and there is a table for 6 on the screened porch as well. In the living room, there are 2 loveseats and 2 easy chairs, a gas fireplace, and a large TV with a Roku box. There is one small sleeping nook upstairs with a double bed. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with a CA king bed and walk-in closet and the other with 2 bunks. There is a deep soaking bathtub with a shower in one bath, and a large tiled walk-in shower in the other. All sheets and towels are provided. Outside, beyond the gardens, large lawn, picnic tables, firepit, gas and charcoal barbeques, and hammock, there is Lake Dunmore. At the beach are the boats: a metal rowboat, a blue canoe, an Adirondack guide boat, and two kayaks. There is a 30' dock, an anchored swimming raft, inflatable toys, and snorkeling gear. The lake is full of fish, and loons, bald eagles and other water birds abound. Walk to numerous hiking trails in the Green Mountains behind the house. Guest access The house is divided between a front home and a back artist's studio/apt. I live in the apartment when the home is rented. There is a lockbox with a house key near the front door. Other things to note Parking is sensitive and 2 cars, maximum, are allowed. Parking for temporary guests is in the wooded lot above the driveway. Please plan ahead and minimize car build up.
