This historic Black Mountain beauty is 15 minutes to downtown Asheville and less than 1 mile to downtown Black Mountain. Explore the miles of hiking and biking trails nearby or have a beer at one of the many breweries. This is a wonderful spot to call base camp while exploring the area and has all of the amenities you need. We welcome you to enjoy yourself! The space It is important to us that our guests have all of the comforts of home during their stay. Take advantage of our well stocked kitchen if you choose to cook while you are here. There is a very spacious living room furnished with a Smart TV and comfortable sectional sofa, as well as a beautiful sunroom to relax or nap on the comfy daybed. Our home is updated, yet holds historic beauty, with high ceilings and abundant exposure to natural sunlight. The kitchen appliances that are available (aside from full size refrigerator and gas stove/oven) include a large microwave, Instant Pot, toaster, Keurig, regular drip full size coffee maker, and coffee grinder. There are three bedrooms, perfect for a family or a couple and small family to sleep comfortably, with a queen size bed in two of the bedrooms and a twin bed in the third. There is also a daybed located in the sunroom for extra space, which can sleep an additional guest. There is a bathroom with high ceilings and a window, allowing lots of light, with a large walk-in shower. Enjoy the spacious yard and fire pit with Adirondack chairs, grill, and picnic table. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather! Guest access Guests have full access to the upstairs portion of the building as well as the spacious grounds to play in and enjoy! There is a 2 bedroom short term rental downstairs, the Pit Stop, in case you need additional space. We kindly ask that our guests honor the quiet hours of 10pm-6am.
