Byre 7 in Aird of Sleat

This unique place has a style all of its own. set on the top of a hill with stunning views over the sound of Sleat, taking in breathtaking views of the Isles of Eigg and Rum and in the distant the most westerly point of Scotland. Either sit and relax outside on the decking or down at the fire pit enjoying the peace and tranquility. Enjoy your relaxing break and cosy up inside with under floor heating through out and a warming glow from the log fire. The space This is a newly converted property from an old byre into a modern comfortable space consisting of 1 bathroom, 1 double bedroom with an open plan living room/kitchen/dining area. Surrounding the cottage is a decking with picnic bench so you can dine outside surrounded by stunning panoramic views. Steps lead to a fire pit area with provision for you to use a Bbq. Enjoy the peace and quiet whilst watching for sea eagles, golden eagles, deer and a few nosey hedgehogs that might pop their nose out of the surrounding croft. Guest access The whole of Byre 7 cottage is yours to enjoy, along with the surrounding decking, fire pit and bbq area. We live in the house next door and will give you peace to enjoy your stay, however if there is anything you need or if you have any questions we will always be happy to help. We have an inquisitive cat who may come over and nosey in the window or at the door, please do not feed her or encourage her to come in. Other things to note A car is definitely required to get here as public transport does not come to Aird. There is a local shop, pub, garage and fuel station 3 miles away in Ardvasar and a large coop in Broadford which is 20 miles away. We provide a small welcome pack, but it is advisable to stop and bring supplies with you on your way here. The "Camus Daraich" sound of sleat beach which is undoubtedly the best beach in the south of sleat with crystal clear waters and white sandy beach is a 45 min to 1 hr walk away from us and a must to see if you are able. There can be parking issues for visitors visiting this beach but Byre 7 is a short walk from the parking area. If you don't fancy the walk to Camus daraich then we also have a secluded local shore that is a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Registration Details HI-30047-F
