This lovely Grade II listed holiday cottage has a traditional kitchen/dining room with a slate floor and a woodburner, and a lovely inglenook open fire in the living room. It has a huge child & dog friendly private enclosed garden with views across the valley. With a pergola, picnic table & bbq . Travel cot and high chair available on request. 32" Smart TV. DVD player and DVDs/films. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Freezer. Fridge, Wi-fi. The space There are plenty of walks in the area, with the village pub and shop about a mile away. Thrill seekers will love the facilities in nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog, where you can bounce on huge nets in an underground slate cavern, whizz through the air on Europe’s longest zipwire or try your hand at the Antur Stiniog’s Downhill Mountain Bike Trail. From Blaenau, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways will take you on an unforgettable journey with stunning views down to the coast at Porthmadog and beyond to Caernarfon. In the other direction, the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed is only 4 miles away, the gateway and hub to Snowdonia, has a great choice of cafes and restaurants, and outdoor pursuit shops abound. Beach 15 miles at Black Rocks near Porthmadog or 20 miles away at Harlech. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile. Guest access Key safe and numerical code access to the property so no unnecessary human contact. The code is 0601 Private off road parking for 3 cars. On prior request secured indoor storage for bikes, kayaks and outdoor gear. Private enclosed and dog secure lawned garden with sitting-out area - with furniture, a bbq set and a firepit. If the private garden gate is not closed, pets should be kept on a lead at all times and dog mess collected before departure. Other things to note Our linens and towels are cleaned by a professional company (Monarch Cleaners). The cottage is cleaned by a professional cleaning company (Twt a Thaclus).Towels are only provided for weekly stay so for short stays please bring your own. But we can provide towels upon request for an additional charge. If guests wish to make fires during their stay; coal, firelighters and kindling can be purchased from the Spar shop in the village. The firewood has not been seasoned and will leave a residue in the chimney stack walls. So please only use kiln dried wood available from most supermarkets. The burner in the kitchen is no longer usable. Directions for using the TV in the living room. Switch on button on right hand side of the tv itself. Press On button on top of the Sky box and use the firestick remote control for tv channels on BBC iPlayer, ITV, Netflix, You Tube etc.
