Bijou budget apartment in the Grassmarket, one of the most popular and lively parts of Edinburgh, at the heart of the Old Town, an area busy with great restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs so be prepared for some potential noise if the streets are lively. You will be in the City Centre in a prime location, only a short walk to The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Easy to get to and from the airport, bus station, and train station. Maximum 2 guests. Minimum 3 nights stay. The space This is a fantastic bijou budget apartment in the vibrant heart of Edinburgh City centre. The location is very central so it's ideal for visitors and tourists. This very well presented, cosy, 1 bedroom ground floor accommodation is situated in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre. The property is conveniently located on High Riggs which is in the Castle Terrace and Grassmarket/Tollcross area of the City Centre. This is also near to Lothian Road and Haymarket train station, Princes Street, and and also The Royal Mile. The property comprises - Entrance vestibule - Lounge/concealed kitchenette area - Double Bedroom - Small shower room - Separate WC - Electric heating and double glazing. The location is superb! Close to great local amenities such as shops, restaurants, cafes and bars in the Grassmarket/Tollcross area, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood palace, Holyrood Parliament, The famous Arthur's seat, Royal mile The Meadows, National museum of Scotland and many more. This is a great central location to easily access everything the City has to offer. The apartment is 31 meters square in size and is situated in a vibrant area of the city centre close to some night life/clubs. The maximum number of guests permitted is 2 people. Minimum 3 nights stay. This is for the purpose of fire safety and license compliance. Guest access You will have full and private access to the entire apartment. The apartment is not shared with anyone else. The apartment is accessed through a shared stairwell corridor via a security buzzer entry system door from the street. Other things to note Please note this is a 1 bedroom apartment with 1 double bed for 1 person, or 2 people sharing. There is also a sofa bed that opens up into a double bed and can be used if the 2 guests wish to have separate sleeping arrangements (family/friends). The apartment can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 2 guests only. If for whatever reason you are 2 guests that want to sleep separately, there will be an extra charge of £25 per booking to cover for additional laundry costs and cleaning time for use of the sofa bed. Please let us know at the time of booking, if you wish to use the sofa bed, so we can arrange to have the bedding and sheets for the sofa bed prepared and give you the instructions on how to open it. If you wish to drop off your bags/luggage before the check in time of 5pm or if you wish to check out later than 10am, we are happy to be flexible and accommodate this for you whenever possible (subject to availability). We will have to charge a £20 fee to cover our additional costs and expenses which allow us to be able to give you this service. Check out time is at 10am. If you check out late, there will be a £20 fee because this gives our cleaners less time to prepare the apartment for the next guest. Any charges for extra services, such as early luggage drop off, late check out, or use of sofa bed will be arranged on the Airbnb site via a money transfer request. Please also note that the apartment is 31 sqm in size. The shower cubicle and the w/c are separate. There are a couple of night clubs in the area therefor some noise is to be expected due to being in the centre of the Capital City of Scotland. We care very much for our guests and always provide a clean and comfortable environment for you to enjoy your stay while visiting Edinburgh.
