Informal nature based wildlife activities are available, including seasonal whale watching, turtles nesting, Goana spotting and migratory Shorebirds. The Shores Holiday Apartments are within a 10-minute drive of Mackay Golf Club and Mt Pleasant Shopping Center. Mackay Town Center is 12 minutes' drive away. This 2-story self-contained townhouse includes a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and a patio with outdoor seating. The lounge area offers a flat-screen TV, a sofa bed and an iPod docking station. A balcony is located on the 2nd floor, off the main bedroom. There is also an additional toilet.
