Our Presshütte on the 1st floor is our largest apartment with 2 bedrooms, making it ideal for large families. A place where time slows down and families can truly arrive. Cozy rooms and holiday apartments, a lovingly prepared regional breakfast buffet, and a spacious garden with a playground, pedal tractors, go-karts, as well as rabbits and cats create the perfect setting for an unforgettable family holiday. Our pumpkin farm has its own story to tell. Originally a separate farm, it was lovingly purchased in 1995 by Grandma and Grandpa Gartner. For many years, it served quietly as a shelter for agricultural machinery — until a new vision began to grow. With passion, courage, and a deep connection to the region, Barbara and Christian Gartner decided to bring new life into the old walls. Together with local craftsmen and the nearby Gross carpentry workshop, they transformed the farm into a warm and welcoming retreat in the heart of Styria’s Thermen & Vulkanland. In 2002, we proudly welcomed our very first holiday guests — the beginning of many shared memories, children’s laughter, and moments of togetherness. Today, our Kürbishof is a place where tradition meets comfort, where generations come together, and where holidays turn into lasting memories. Guest access During your stay, you have access to our farm shop at any time. In addition, we offer a self-service refrigerator stocked with juices and wines from the region. Other things to note breakfast buffet Our breakfast buffet, beautifully arranged around the historic Göpel wheel in our cozy Moarstubn, leaves nothing to be desired and provides the perfect energy for a wonderful start to the day. With great care and love for our region, we place special emphasis on regional products and short supply chains. That’s why you will find a wide selection of homemade and locally sourced delicacies on our breakfast table. If you have any food intolerances or dietary requirements, we are happy to provide suitable alternatives. Simply let us know when you make your booking or a few days before your arrival. Breakfast can be added for an additional charge of €15 per person per day (from 15 years).
