This apartment is part of the desirable block in Ramsay Garden situated on Castlehill overlooking Edinburgh’s New Town. There are plenty of major attractions nearby including; Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, The Scotch Whisky Experience, and Camera Obscura & World of Illusions are literally just a minute walk! To ensure a smooth check-in, please provide your expected arrival time in advance. Check-in is available from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. local time. If you plan to arrive after 10 p.m., please do not book this apartment. OVERVIEW OF THE APARTMENT You will be excited to stay in this wonderful apartment. It has an inviting entrance hall, an elegant dining room, a well-decorated living room, four comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a stylish lounge, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. HALL - The apartment is selectively furnished and decorated throughout, conferring a stylish spaciousness which is immediately evident upon entering through the small vestibule to the hall topped with waterfall chandelier. BEDROOMS - This apartment has 4 spacious bedrooms. - 1 super king size bedroom, 2 king size bedrooms and 1 double bedroom - All rooms have fitted double wardrobe. - Master bedroom has a super king size four-poster bed, flatscreen TV with integrated DVD player atop a chest of drawers, double wardrobe, double cabinet, and teardrop chandelier. - 2nd bedroom : king size bed, fitted double wardrobe and wooden armchair. - 3rd bedroom: king size bed, an armchair, and double wardrobes on either side of a curtained cabinet. - 4th bedroom: double bed, integrated wardrobe. LOUNGE - Leather sofa, plush armchair and glass coffee table. - Lots of books, magazines and some board games for entertainment. LIVING ROOM - Has bay windows looking out to the bustling Princes Street and North Bridge. - Two comfortable sofa with a rustic coffee table in-between. - HD Smart TV - Wooden armchair DINING ROOM - Large dining table seating eight BATHROOM - 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. - Heated towel rails - Electric underfloor heating - Shampoo - Shower gel - Hand wash KITCHEN - Kitchen is equipped with useful appliances such as hob, oven, fridge and freezer, electric kettle, toaster and microwave. - Crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, cooking utensils - Storage space - Dishwasher - Washing machine - Cleaning supplies WHAT'S MORE - You can enjoy unlimited free Wi-Fi in the apartment. - Hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and hand wash are provided. - Tea and coffee are provided in the kitchen cupboard. - There is washing machine in the apartment to do the laundry. - Guests will have access to the entire space. - Please note that I can only provide 1 travel cot and 1 high chair free of charge, which can be requested at least 3 days prior to your arrival date. If you require any additional travel cots or high chairs, this would incur a £20 charge. Please also kindly note that no linen or mattress is provided for the travel cot, so you will need to bring your own linen and mattress for the cot if you need to use it. - The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned by a professional cleaning company. Ramsay Garden is a private residential area so there is no allocated parking bay for visitors. You can unload the luggage there temporarily but couldn't stop the car there too long as the Association will monitor the usage of the car park. ---------------------------------- Important Notice There are repair works within Ramsay Garden involving scaffolding from mid-December until the end of January. Contractors will adhere strictly to permitted hours set by Edinburgh Council, keeping inconvenience and privacy impacts to a minimum. Please do not book this property if this arrangement is not suitable for your stay. ---------------------------------- **​Please note that Ramsay Garden is a private residential area so there is no allocated parking bay for visitors and any guests who booked for staying in the apartment. All existing residents are required to apply for a parking permit to park in the private residential area. Therefore, there is strictly no parking at Ramsay Garden for visitors and non-residents. As a guest, you can unload the luggage there temporarily for a maximum of 10 minutes but couldn't stop the car there for more than 10 minutes as the Association will monitor the usage of the car park.  Any car which parks inside Ramsay Garden without authorisation or permission will face a penalty and the association reserves the right to move away the car without notice.  If you drive to Edinburgh and need to find a place to park your car, you can use the on-street parking bay in the Old Town or city center. On-street parking bays nearby are free from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m the next day from Monday to Saturday. On Saturday evenings, on-street parking is free from 6:30 p.m. to Sunday 12:30 p.m. and free from Sunday 6:30 p.m. to Monday 8:30 a.m. The NCP Edinburgh Castle Terrace multi-storey car park is within short walking distance (9-11 minutes) from or to the apartment.** **Please note the apartment is not suitable for holding any kind of parties and the apartment is strictly non-smoking and no pets. As the apartment is located at Ramsay Garden which is a quiet yet centrally located neighborhood, please keep the noise to a minimum after 9:00 p.m. If these rules are violated, the guest will need to pay the security call-out fee. ** Guest access The listing is for renting the whole apartment. It means you have private access to the entire flat during the stay, and no one will share the apartment with you. Other things to note Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit. Towels, linen, heating, lighting, internet access and a starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, local shortbread etc. are all included. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: - I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination. - My cleaners clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists. - My cleaners sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob.
