House on the hill is a home away from home with a full kitchen equipped with all the pots, pans and utensils you need to cook up a feast and a BBQ on the deck to enjoy alfresco dining if the weather is nice. The huge deck overlooking the bay of Port Campbell is a highlight with stairs into the huge yard for easy access. The cottage has heating in all bedrooms plus a split system in the main living space which also helps to cool the house in summer. The cottage has a homely feel with plenty of natural light, comfortable beds, and free wifi. There are also lots of bird life and rabbits on the headland for spotting, and it is also the home of the endangered Southern brown bandicoot if you are lucky enough to find one. Its location is unique because you are only meters from the southern ocean, so close you can hear all the sound of the ocean and watch the ever changing bay as the swells and weather changes.
