The Inn at Wise, a Timeless Legacy Unearthed Immerse yourself in the heritage of Wise County, Virginia, where the Dotson Hotel, a precursor to The Inn at Wise, stood tall in the face of change. As ownership changed hands, Herbert Thompson’s stewardship in 1925 marked a pivotal era, transforming the establishment into the iconic Inn we know today.
