The house is a typical, old Tuscan house in the centre of Orciatico, a small village with only 200 residents. Quite place for relaxing, making big walks in the forest, talk to the locals. Car is necessary, a cafe is opened for ice cream, coffee and sandwiches but no restaurants and shops on site ILajatico is the birthplace of the singer Andre Bocelli.You can visit Volterra only 25 min, San Giminiano 40min, Pisa 1 hour, Lucca 1 hour 10 min, Siena 1 hour, Florence 1 hour 15 min, the sea is 45min. The space Stone walls and wooden beams in a real mangiatoia but now it is completely renovated with a spacious, modern kitchen and bathroom. No oven or dishwasher. There is a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom. Nice, cool place in summer time. Guest access Only by car- no shops, no restaurants in the village, only a Cafe for cold drinks and gelato. The bus comes twice a day so car is necessary. The historical centre is closed for cars but parking places are available for free even 30 meters from the house. Private entrance with a few steps, little space in front for an outside table. Parkings are free and about 150-300 meters further. Other things to note Heating is included with a limit.
