Autumn brings rich reds and yellows as the year rushes to the holidays.. The Trumpeter swans grace the sky, they look like a winged poem. The Snow geese are visiting as well and you can hear them honking as they fly overhead. They will be heading back North soon, but so worth seeing. The eagles are easier to see without the foliage blocking the view, majestic and serene out fishing. Come, celebrate the year's end and rebirth. Come and visit, make memories. Situated on the northernmost point of Puget sound, we're five miles from Anacortes where charming restaurants and shows in the scenic downtown area. As planned, we just replaced our HOT TUB, so it's new and easy to relax in. Anacortes Ferry Terminal is only about 15 minutes away, Swinomish Casino is only 5 minutes from here. Riverside, La Conner with its busy retail shops, is about eleven miles distant. There are several good restaurants in both locations. Skagit is Farm Country and the food experience here is outstanding. The suite is private and comfy, extra spacious and homey. Attached sitting room, patio access and a comfortable bedroom with full bath make your stay stress free. We use allergen free unscented laundry detergent to keep our sheets soft and comfy. We deep clean with natural products to maintain sanitary spaces for our guests. Our 2.5 acre property allows for walks in the garden, access to the water, relaxing on the patio and chilling on the porch swing. What more could you ask for? Memories made here! Leslie & Jay Other things to note We are only 10 minutes from Deception Pass bridge, definitely a must-see, sunsets are glorious, and hiking nearby in the park is not to be missed. It's one of our favorite places. Spring Wine festival, La Conner Guitar Festival, Anacotes Boat Show, Shipwreck Days in summer or Beer on the Pier in autumn are scheduled this year. Lots of Hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, clamming, crabbing, whale watching and boating nearby. Nothing says you can't just relax and catch sight of one of our resident raptors.
