Barker Stakes Farm

Description

Set in 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, in a beautiful, peaceful location in North Yorkshire, this 18th century farmhouse offers attractive self catering accommodations. Sorry we do not accept pets in our 3 person lodge or in the cottages. We do accept pets in all the other lodges. Just 1.5 miles from the picturesque market town of Pickering, Barker Stakes Farm is a family-run business. Your hosts Steve and Sarah, offer a warm welcome Our waterside bronze lodges are our oldest and most basic ,accommodations. If they were quality rated they would achieve a 2 star rating. They are not of an equivalent standard to our other lodges and the interiors are now dated but are priced accordingly. The open plan living area has a leather sofa, a 32″ tv and a small 4 seat dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven , hob, microwave and under counter fridge with freezer compartment .The patio doors lead out onto private decking with your own hot tub where you can relax and watch the abundance of wildlife on our very own pond. The master bedroom has a double bed and there is a twin bedroom both sharing a family shower room.
