Sleeping Loft ceiling very is low. Sherri’s Terlingua Cabin is a wonderful place to relax and an excellent home base for exploring the Big Bend area. You will have quick and easy access to Big Bend National Park, the Rio Grande River, Terlingua Ghost Town, and Big Bend Ranch State Park. The cabin in within easy walking distance (1/3 mile) to the famous La Kiva Bar and Grill. Enjoy all the conveniences of home. There is a bedroom with a full-size bed, a sleeping loft with two twin beds, a bathroom, living room, and small kitchen. The sleeping loft has a very low ceiling and is best suited for children. There is a small TV with a built-in DVD player. We do have a few DVDs. Feel free to bring your own but you’ll probably spend more time on the porch watching the stars and Terlingua Creek. The kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. There are also plates, silverware, glasses for your use. Pots and pans are also provided. The bathroom is small but has a shower, toilet and sink with hot running water. The cabin is cooled and heated by two mini split air conditioning systems. Sherri’s Terlingua Cabin is located on a bluff above a spring fed section of Terlingua Creek. Most of the time there is just a foot or two of water in this section of the creek. But when it rains it can become a raging torrent in the canyon below the cabin. Be careful near the edge of the cliff. The ground can shift dangerously and unexpectedly. No pets or children under the age of 12 are allowed at the cabin.
