Charming House with Great Sea View Overlooking Canyamel Bay (Mallorca) (License number ETV/13071) The space Our villa is a typical mallorquin villa overlooking the romantic and natural Canyamel Bay with stunning sea views. Swimming pool, private garden, 3 bedrooms and wonderful views on the sea from several terraces and our pool! You can enjoy beach, nature, culture, biking (trekking and race biking) or play golf. Our charming house with an unspoilt view is situated in a nice garden. It's the perfect base for relaxing or active holidays on Mallorca. Our "Meervilla Mallorca" ("sea villa Mallorca") in Canyamel is a romantic and natural bay that is mostly spotted with private houses, villas and fincas. Our house has a very exposed position on the hill and thus offers fantastic views on the sea and the entire bay. 2 large terraces and a typical mallorquin tower with round windows invite you to relaxing or sunbathing. The pool with its adjacent terrace is integrated into the garden and surrounded by palm and pine trees. We own the required rental license that is required by Mallorca (ETV/13071) and offer all equipment that was required by the authorities to rent our wonderful house. 3 bedrooms offer lots of space also for larger families and friends (max. 8 persons). Master bedroom one (upper floor) sleeps 2 persons in a double bed and has a bathroom en suite. Master bedroom two sleeps 2 persons in a double bed and has a shared bathroom with bedroom three. Bedroom three can sleep up to 4 persons in 2 loft beds. You enter the house from a stairway that descends from the street across the garden and then enters into the upper floor and living area. The entrance opens into the tower (living room with chimney and cosy sitting corner. To the right you enter into an open dining room that is connected to the kitchen. The living room offers lots of light and a large access to the main terrace, that has an own dining table. The upper terrace also offers access to the stairway that descends to the pool area with stunning views and a separate terrace. The entrance area also connects one of the two master bedrooms with own bathroom and shower. A spiral staircase brings you into ground floor that hosts the two other bedrooms and a second bath. The villa was built and equipped in mallorquin style and is in very good condition (last renovation 2008, 2013 and new kitchen in 2015). It is equipped with electrical heating and habitable from ca. beginning of April until end of October. The garden surrounds the house on all 4 sides and has typical mallorquin pine trees, plants and palm trees. It is equipped with an irrigation system and is taken care of (identical as the pool) from our gardener. Canyamel is situated ca. 8 km from the historical town Arta. Arta offers a nice market, great restaurants, bars and cafes and several supermarkets and all other amenities needed for your vacation. The Canyamel sand beach is some 20 minute's walk from our house (however we recommend a car) and offers several bars and smaller shops. A second smaller and very romantic rocky beach can be reached in ca. 15 minutes by foot. The main beach offers nice and clean white sand and you can rent beach chairs and sun umbrellas. Surrounding, activities and sport: Mallorca is great for hiking and biking and offers an ideal mix of f and hilly courses! The close by sand beach and other small hidden bays provide great possibilities for swimming, snorkeling and sailing. Bikes can be rent directly in Canyamel. Within a couple of kilometers you find 3 different golf clubs that also cater for guests and rent out equipment. Some hiking and biking books and maps can be found in our living room and they recommend some fantastic tours and spectacular coastline-trails also directly in the area of Canyamel. The next cities are Arta (great ancient town with market), Cala Ratjada (nice sand beaches and boulevard / night life), Cala Millor (very large bay), Capdepera (historical castle) and the stalactite caves Cuevas de Arta. For us as your host, it is very important that every guest feels well during his vacation - we thus ask you to please consider the following information before deciding for your stay in our house: Our family had planned and built the house for our own purposes and not for commercial renting. The house is very charming, but not a luxury hotel. It is built in mallorquin style and thus has a rather basic equipment. It is build for relaxing vacation and has a great position in the bay and a wonderful view - this is why you should go there. If you expect TV, luxury equipment and brand-new furniture we recommend you renting a hotel room. Since every happy guest is our most preferred guest, please consider these explicit notifications: In the transition months (depending on the climate sometimes until beginning / mid April and starting from end of October) Mallorca can be fresh. Our electrical heating are sufficient as auxiliary heating, but cannot guarantee a room temperature independant of the outside temperature (however it is always romantic and warm in front of the chimney). The final cleaning is done by our housekeeper. Please try saving water which is a scarce resource on Mallorca by avoiding unnecessary laundry. Everything that you put on the ground will be washed. You can also use our own washing machine in the basement. Some security notifications that also become part of the rental contract with your booking: Due to the hillside location, the house must be reached by a nice and wide starway in mallorquin style without handrail; please check whether small kids or senior citizens could have a problem with that. Due to some exposed and not secured areas (e.g. rim of the pool, roof terrace, stairway) the house is only suitable for small children if they are supervised. For your own security, you are not allowed entering the roof terrace. The lan..dlord is not liable for any damage. Parents are liable for their children.
