Set in a magnificent former coaching inn, Royal Oak Hotel is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia National Park. With free parking and traditional rooms, the property is located along the historic A5 route from Holyhead to London The individual rooms boast scenic views and luxury modern bathrooms with free toiletries. Some have ornate four-poster or sleigh beds. All rooms have Wi-Fi access and TVs with over 50 Freeview channels. The Grill Room at the Royal Oak serves delicious modern dishes giving preference to local products. From Friday through Sunday the guests can enjoy the Grill Room cuisine in the windows of the Llugwy River Restaurant. With a picturesque village location in Betws-y-Coed, The Royal Oak Hotel is at the gateway to Snowdonia. Our hotel is historic, so we don’t have a elevator. Access to the main hotel rooms on the first and second floors is by stairs only. However, the Stables Lodge in the annex does have a elevator. Please note that we do not allow dogs in our accommodations. This room is located in the Stables Lodge, and features a Freeview TV and an private bathroom. This room does not have any meals included and is sold on a Room Only basis. Check-out for the budget accommodations is 10:30. Guests have access to the leisure facilities at the sister hotel for an additional fee.
