Four queen bedrooms with private baths, and full kitchen. Your hosts are on site during your visit, tucked away in the lower level Innkeeper Suite. We’ll be glad to offer tips or advice as needed. Your group has a separate entrance and exclusive access to the Main Level and all four bedrooms. Prepare all your own meals in the complete kitchen. There are two outdoor gas grills to help you enjoy your own menu or local bratwurst specialties, plus a fire pit overlooking the Missouri River valley. There's a generous covered deck off the kitchen and a walk-out lower level. Enjoy the bedrooms, private baths, kitchen, living/dining room, front porch and deck. Take the winding drive right up to the front door, with an easy accessible entrance. There's plenty of parking at the front door, plus on the quiet dead-end street. Innkeepers Gary and Marsha are on-site in the lower level Innkeeper Suite to answer any questions you may have. But the house is yours to enjoy in privacy. You may see "Gary the Gardener" maintaining the grounds, and even offering you plant cuttings to take home! The host family includes a small (20 pound) cavapoo dog who is contained inside the Innkeeper Suite or in her own fenced-in portion of the yard. She loves to greet guests with a wagging tail. Spirit Hill is conveniently close to everything, but pleasantly removed from the bustle and noise of downtown. You'll feel like you're in a quiet garden retreat, but just minutes away from anywhere. Amtrak stops right downtown twice a day. You can take the 11-block walk to Spirit Hill, or book the trolley or limo service for convenient drop-off right at our mailbox. We're about 5 blocks from the main part of town, but up a steep hill. So you may like to have a car. Or there's a trolley service available by the day that will stop right at our mailbox when you call. They'll pick you up at Amtrak, too, and stop at all the local wineries!
