Diane At Villager-Pool, Resort Dock
Diane, Resort Dock Access to Lake Cumberland, Minutes to Safe Harbor Marina
Our fourth house we chose to add to Lake Vista Properties. Diane is one of two side by side cottages located in the old tourist spot known as Villager Resort. This space was in desperate need of a makeover! With the beautiful Lake Cumberland right at your fingertips, private dock access, and a coin operated tram that can take you down to the dock, we wanted to undergo a total remodel of the cottage. Plus, Burnside Marina is only 1.5 miles away! Diane, with an eclectic bohemian theme, is right next to Jack, in a classic all American boy theme, so they are perfect for hosting large groups, separate but together! The space is decorated with a unique personal touch and items made by my family and I. The bedrooms house king platform beds made of pine with floating shelves on each side. The bathroom is finished off with hints of handmade cedar items that release a wonderful smell in the small space. The sunroom area is off of the living room finished off with different wood pieces on the wall, deck style floor, 2 ceiling fans, and numerous windows. You can take in the warmth of the sun, open up the windows and feel the breeze and smell the fresh air, or listen to the rain hit the metal roof! For your personal convenience we also chose to put a washer/dryer in the cottage for you to use. We made the most of this space and brought it back to life. Honestly, I could relax here all day! The cottage is privately owned by us but housed in an HOA community. There is plenty of parking available as well as space to take a walk. The property also has a heated pool, tennis court, batting cages, picnic area, bagged ice for purchase on site, fishing and swimming is allowed off the dock, and charcoal grill that is available to you during your stay. Be sure to bring your own recreational towels, lifejackets, fishing gear, floats ect. The entire cottage is yours as well as access to all common areas on the resort. Common areas include; pool, dock, picnic area, tennis court, and recreational game room. The pool is open by Memorial Day weekend and usually stays open until the end of September. The cottage is less than 20 minutes from our home dwelling if you need anything.Access to the property is through a key code to unlock the door. If you don't need us you won't see us. Burnside is a sister city to Somerset which is growing everyday! There is plenty of beautiful scenery to take in while your here. If Lake Cumberland wasn't enough just go for a hike, see Cumberland Falls, travel to Mammoth Cave. There is lots to enjoy in this small city and if you need any suggestions just let me know! All those who participate in the common area monthly fees payed into us are apart of Villager Resort on Lake Cumberland. There are multiple owners within the community. The road is a private road therefore there is not a lot of thru traffic. There is plenty of parking in front of the cottages/houses roadside. Lots of guests put there boat in the water and park their trailers in front of where they are staying. Guests or owners walk about the property to go to the pool, dock, tram, tennis court, game room, picnic area. Since traffic is slow, it’s also a great place to get in a morning or evening walk and ride bikes. Keep in mind Villager Resort on Lake Cumberland is owned and operated by us. We have our logo on all our cottages and properties which include all common areas. We do not have an office on site. The shed office you will see next to the picnic shelter is not us.
