This is a quiet, authentic Transylvanian house set in a historic traditional Saxon village background. Alexandra, your local host, is very nice and speaks English. In April & October the house is heated with a traditional terracotta fireplace. House facilities: one bedroom with a double bed and one with twin beds, two bathrooms, kitchen, shared courtyard, parking. If you are part of bigger group, rent also Alma Vii 103B, located in the same yard. Children 3-12 years old pay half of the price. The space It is located right across the impressive fortified church of the village. It has a large yard covered in clean grass, so you can walk barefooted here if you want. It also has a shaddy place you spend hot summer days reading a book. As there are no parasite lights, the stars glimmer big at night. This is a traditional Transylvanian house, built in the 19th century, its name keeping alive the memory of the last owner – Walter Denghel. Located in the village center, directly across from the medieval church, the two bedroom house is a way to experience local life at its best. If you reserve this house, you will have the entire place and yard to yourself. We will not rent the other room, yet you will only pay per person for the number of people in your group. The only shared space might be the yard, if house 103B is also booked during your stay. Your front bedroom is a room with a view: especially at night when the church, this medieval bastion, like an engraving from a fairy tale, is illuminated by the fading light, as the sunset drops behind the wooded Carpathians. During daytime you can sit back on the terrace, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea made from locally-grown herbs and spices. You will find the place warm, but you will have to continue feeding the fire and start it again in the morning if you feel it is necessary. We understand that while some might consider this truly charming, others would feel it is a bit too much work. The host of the guesthouse, Alexandra, will pamper you with Transylvanian dishes, following local cooking traditions and using only natural produce. The only mobile network working here is Digi.
