Il Balcone di Angelina in the heart of the Cascata

The Angelina Balcony is located in the historic center of Isola del Liri, in the pedestrian zone of the village, and overlooks the High Great Waterfall about 27 meters. The apartment is on the second floor of an old building (no elevator). It has been completely renovated and recently furnished; it consists of a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom overlooking the internal courtyard, a kitchen, and a living room with a dining table and two sofa beds. The space Il Balcone di Angelina is a connection to the past and to our grandparents, particularly to our paternal grandmother Angela, from whom it takes its name, “Angelina.” She was originally from Isola del Liri, and this apartment was her childhood home. In our memories, there is always the story of when, at the end of World War II, Grandma looked out from the balcony and threw her physical education teacher’s uniform into the river. It is precisely in her memory that we created Il Balcone di Angelina, with the aim of enabling tourists to enjoy the atmosphere of Isola del Liri and to get closer to the local culture.
