Tastefully decorated 2400 sqft home with beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix. Open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, gas fire place and large deck. Short walk or bike ride to Boyne City for shopping, dining or parks. Public Lake access is just across the street. No private frontage or dock. Hot tub to enjoy as well! Sleeps 14. 24' boat slip may be availalbe at a marina in Advance for an additional fee. This is located within walking distance of downtown Boyne City and is less than a ten minute drive to Boyne Mountain and the Avalanche Bay water park for year-beach and strolling around town, others look for boating fun on the lake. On Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer there is a farmer's market in the city park located within walking distance. There is also a full service grocery store (Family Fare) which is a 3 minute drive from the home which also offers a Starbucks! If you enjoy paddling a canoe or kayak, the Boyne River is an enjoyable two hour paddle. The Boyne River flows into Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City. Ten miles away near East Jordan you will find the Jordan River a noted protected “Natural River” for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. There are also winter float trips on the Jordan River. For our bicycling friends, be sure to plan a ride on the paved 26 mile “Little Traverse Wheelway” between Charlevoix and Petoskey along the Lake Michigan Shore ( Boyne Mountain and Avalache in Boyne City also offers challenging mountain biking trails). The Boyne City-Charlevoix paved bike path extends 2 miles past Young State Park. In 2020 the paved trail will be connected with the Little Traverse Wheelway which connects Charlevoix and Petoskey. We can offer more detail on hiking, biking, boating, paddling, skiing, dining and other recreational opportunities in the area to help plan your trip. Boyne City is a gem in Northern Michigan's crown of jewels. This growing, bustling city has it all: music, art, fun, outdoor activities, dining, shopping, biking, skiing, and more. With 3,500 year 'round residents that swells to many times that size in the summer months, Boyne City's charm is enticing. The energy in Boyne City is exciting: new businesses and restaurants, a bustling farmer's market that draws vendors and shoppers from around Northern Michigan, SOBO--South Boyne's art district, street music in the summer, the Morel Festival, car show, drag races, and more. Pets will be considered. An addendum would need to be signed and there would be an additional pet fee. Please inquire if you would like to bring a pet. HOT TUB: As advertised on our website, some of our homes have a hot tub for use by the registered guests. Despite our routine maintenance and upkeep of these hot tubs, occasionally situations occur outside of our control that may cause the hot tub to be unavailable during your stay. We cannot guarantee the use of the hot tub nor will there be any refunds/accommodations made if the hot tub is unable to be used. NO EATING OR DRINKING IN THE HOT TUB or it may result in a loss of your security deposit.
