The space Notes on amenities: • Water, electricity, gas as well as bed linens and towels and final cleaning are conveniently included in the price • Two cozy bedrooms for two people each • a very cozy bunk bed for two people • A bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink • a spacious living and dining room with fireplace (excluding firewood) • a terrace overlooking the forest • TV and Wi-Fi • around 70 m² of living space • around 11,000 m² of forest property to let off steam, get together or slow down • Shared campfire corner for nature-loving moments of happiness • a rustic sauna on the premises (available for all guests, with a surcharge of 10 euros per course/group) with a magnificent view of the countryside • The surrounding forest is ideal for long walks for you and your dogs Our cottages contain almost everything your heart desires. Because sustainability and conscious consumption are important to us, we have collected the following equipment, which is not regularly in use, for sharing or lending centrally in the forest district: • High chairs, travel cribs and step stools for your little ones (please inform us in advance about the need; we will take care of the assembly) • several grill options (please organize charcoal yourself) • Washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron as well as clothes rack are available in our small laundry station Please bring all the consumables that are important to you. For the start, you can expect: • Dish soap and dishwashing powder • Soap, tissues, toilet paper and a kitchen roll • A few spices, baking paper, plastic wrap, garbage bags, coffee filters and candles • Firewood is available for the first fire. Please bring additional firewood. Wood can be purchased at the "Nahkauf" in the village Guest access Ample free parking is available directly on our premises. The Gittelde/Bad Grund train station is approx. 10 minutes away from us. Here you can take the bus connection and walk a few meters to reach us. Please contact us in advance so that we can plan the journey by train and bus with you :-) Other things to note Tourist Taxes: . Our vacation resort of Bad Grund levies a mandatory tourist tax. This allows you to travel by bus through the Harz Mountains for free and take advantage of discounted offers from 50 Harz resorts. The tourist tax is to be paid either on site or conveniently by bank transfer. • Adult fee (18 years and older) €2.10 per night • Contribution for children (from 6 to 17 years) €1.05 per night Note: A maximum of 3 people will be charged for a family. Every 4th person and additional people in a family are exempt. From 3 nights, our short stay surcharge is waived. You want to stay with us longer or plan a workation in the Harz Mountains.
