Quirky rural family home in lush gardens

A true family home, filled with plants, books and toys. Our traditional kitchen seats up to 10 for cosy meals and our spacious living room has a wood burning stove and large TV. We have a large garden, and huge field with wood-fired hot tub and chickens. The space My home is quirky and colourful, I love plants so you will find lots in every room! The large kitchen table can seat up to 10 people comfortably and there's a fully equipped kitchen so you can prepare delicious meals. The cosy living room and library have comfy sofas, lots of books and board games and children's toys (particularly the play kitchen, Duplo and Lego). The garden is lush and full of hidden corners, I like to let nature take the lead with my gardening so you'll find loads of butterflies and bumblebees. Guest access You get the exclusive use of the house and can share the garden, field and hot tub with other guests. Please note the driveway is not available for parking, this is reserved for the annexes, parking is provided on the field near the gate on the mowed area only. Our wood-fired hot tub is available to book for £30 for an hour long private session. A 200m walk is necessary from the parking area to the house so please ensure this works for you prior to booking. We use natural bedding and cushions, and are unable to provide alternatives - you are welcome to bring your own if required. The outside areas are shared with our family and other guests, there are lots of spaces you can use, but depending on the season and weather conditions some may not be available - please ask if you would like to make use of anything and we will always do our best to accommodate. We are a working smallholding and busy family home, we try very hard to keep everything looking at it's best, but ask for your patience if we fall short - just let us know and we will make every effort to fix it for you. We welcome well behaved dogs that are not allowed onto furniture. If your dog leaves excess hair you can use our vacuum cleaner. We have chickens, cats and children as well as other dogs belonging to friends and guests so it is important that your dog can cope with this. Dogs must be kept on lead in the garden and field areas. The bridge crossing to the hot tub and field has no railings and a steep drop into water, great care should taken when crossing and children should be carefully supervised. The field should be considered a working farm area; working tractors and livestock maybe present - it is essential that all animals and children are closely supervised. Our wood-fired hot tub is available to book for just £30 an hour for private sessions with full cleans in between.
