The space This 64 m² accommodation, located on the 12th floor with an elevator, is a double-aspect apartment (very nice for natural ventilation). The BD is east-facing with a view of the "Bonne Mère", and the living area is west-facing with panoramic views of the sea, the Friuli Islands, the Château d'If, the Palais du Pharo, etc. The BD is 10 m². It consists of a 140 x 200 double bed, a wardrobe and a desk. The living room is adjacent to the dining room/study as well as to the balcony. The accommodation is also equipped with: - an independent kitchen - a bathroom with an 80 x 120 cm shower - a separate toilet - a very high speed Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection! With this accommodation, guests will also have a private, closed garage inside the residence (PLEASE NOTE: this garage is not suitable for cars that are too tall, such as the Kangoo, max height 170 cm). Guest access The 2 guests have access to only one bedroom. The second bedroom in the apartment will be locked and therefore inaccessible. The accessible living area is therefore 54 m² + 8 m² of balcony. The private garage is also available. Air conditioning will be available in the living room but should be used sparingly. Indeed, since natural ventilation is often sufficient at this altitude, it should be preferred for obvious reasons. Other things to note The bedroom is very comfortable but not very large (10m2) Bedding dimensions: 200 long and 140 wide. Although there is an elevator, there are a few steps to climb (the elevator stops at half landings). The Saint Victor district also called "Quartier d 'Endoume" is very well located and central. It is easily and quickly accessible, by car, from the motorway exit of the tunnel of the old port. It is accessible on foot from the train station (35 minutes) as well as from the Old Port from where several Buses also leave including the No.55 which has a stop at the foot of the residence. (This bus does not work after 8:30 pm). Since June 1, 2024, a small bus, N°59, runs between 9pm and 1am and every half hour. Its peculiarities are that the departure is only on the Old Port, at the level of the Cours Jean Ballard and that the itinerary must be communicated to the driver. (Stops are on demand). Note that there is no danger of driving at night and on foot in this area. Electric bikes and scooters are also very convenient and common use. A private garage in the residence is available and allowing conveyed guests to organize their stay with peace of mind. (PLEASE NOTE, this garage is not suitable for high Kangoo cars). Some weekends and sometimes on weekdays, sports meetings take place on the sports field located at the bottom of the residence... a good atmosphere but that could sometimes wake people with a light sleep. Similarly, the location of the residence under Notre Dame de La Garde means proximity to its bell tower.
