Lovely private double room for single/double occupancy in the loft of our home. The room comes with a double bed and a private shower/bathroom. It’s cosy, peaceful and ideal for short stays in Oxford. We are situated minutes from the canal, and Port Meadow, so you can enjoy nice long walks in nature. We are also situated very close to the train station, Said Business School and the Oxford centre, with all amenities in short walking distance. Railway station: 6 minutes City centre: 12 minutes The space The room is situated in our loft, on the second floor. There are no other rooms in our loft, so you will have the entire floor to yourself. This is quite a unique feature which allows a great deal of privacy to our guests. The bathroom is in a separate room than the bedroom, and both have doors. It has a walk-in shower. In the room you will find: Clothes rack, and chest of drawers Desk and bookshelf Extra pillows and throws Fast guest Wi-Fi Filter water Espresso machine (Nespresso) Kettle Selection of teas & coffee pods In the bathroom you will find: Hairdryer Toothpaste Makeup remover and cotton balls Body and foot cream Luxury shampoo, conditioner and shower gel Towels and bath mat Please note that the loft is situated on the top floor of our house (second floor) and there are two flights of stairs. Please also note that, there are sloping ceilings in the loft. We have a small child, and there might be occasional noise from him during the day or at night. But the loft is rather separate from the rest of the house so this should not be a major issue. During your stay, we will be around, so we would be happy to meet and greet you and help you settle in. We are also happy to give you tips about Oxford, if you need any. Always feel free to ask questions. You may be able to drop off luggage before check in or leave bags to collect at a later time (depending on our availability). Please just ask. Guest access Please note that breakfast is not provided. Kitchen and living room are for the use for our family only. If you need any food to be warmed up, please let one of us know, and we will try to help. Please note that we might not be always available immediately as we have a small child. No guest of guests. No parking. It is really easy to get around on foot in Oxford and we live very centrally.
