The home is centrally located just 20 min from Cody, WY and all of it’s attractions. The perfect starting point for your Yellowstone adventures. Our home features three bedrooms and a spacious main living area. Additionally, there is a well appointed kitchen, dining area and a patio with a table and chairs. The master bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub (no shower). The guest bathroom has a full sized shower and nice fixtures. There is also a powder room off the laundry room. The furnishings are clean and comfortable and the kitchen has many items to make home cooking easy. As our guest you will have access to the whole home with the exception of the garage. The front door is accessed by a spacious porch and two steps. There is a large backyard for the kids or pets and a cozy patio for outdoor dining. Powell is a small town, easily walkable. It has a great Visitor's Center with good information about local and nearby activities. The grocery store is well stocked and just over a half mile away. Bent street has many local shops to explore and the parks are perfect for the kids. Cody is less that a 30 min drive with endless activities during the summer. Our family loved the trolley tour and the Rodeo (every night June 1-August 30 is a must! Yellowstone is about 75 miles to the East Gate through Cody, although the views on the way there are breathtaking. Yellowstone is also accessible through the Northeast gate via the “top of the world” road (summer only) which is a can’t miss experience. Do not forget about the bighorn mountains about an hour to the east. Picturesque waterfalls, and abundant wildlife make the bighorns an unforgettable destination. The city of Powell is four square miles so summertime walks to most destinations are enjoyable. Parking on the street is free and downtown offers ample parking for shops and restaurants.
