Enjoy animal experiences from your front door including wild deer, kangaroos, and native birdlife which regularly visit the property. The space Step inside you'll find a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room with a split system air-conditioning. Perfect for two, this one-bedroom studio can stretch to fit four with the fold-out double sofa bed in the living room—just be prepared for a cozy stay! Step outside the sliding doors to enjoy the entertainment space overlooking the upper dam, with festival-style lighting, a barbecue, outdoor dining, and a firepit area—though the firepit is unavailable during fire season. Please be aware that the studio is attached to our main house. Privacy is assured with your own external entrance, parking spaces, and outdoor entertaining area. We respect your privacy and keep to ourselves. Guest access All seven acres of the private property are yours to explore. Enjoy a walk to the large dam down the valley and try your luck spotting turtles or frogs. Spend some time with the chickens. Spot the neighboring farm animals including horses, alpacas, miniature ponies, and sheep. Summers here can be quite dry, so the landscape may lose its lush greenery, and the upper dam may not always have water. While it’s a different kind of beauty, the peaceful atmosphere remains just as relaxing! If you love walking, hiking or mountain biking, there's super close access to the the Mount Crawford Forest trail network at the end of the no-through road. Lose yourself in the network of trails featuring arguably the best views the region has to offer. Para Wirra National Park and the adjoining Animal Sanctuary and Barossa Goldfields are also located just down the road within the suburb. For guests with children, there is a cubby house, slides, swings, creek bed, and sand pit area to enjoy. Children are welcome to enter the chicken coop and collect the eggs to keep and consume. Additionally, seeds will be provided for your children to feed the friendly chickens. For the brave, they will even eat out of the palm of your hand!
