The Engine House.
The Engine House.
Description
Silverstone Farm is 2 miles from North Elmham, a small village which has a good village shop, pub and post office with cafe, mid-way between Fakenham and Dereham. The market town of Dereham is five miles away, with a wider range of shops. The splendid North Norfolk coast is only 25 minutes away at Wells-next-the-Sea, with Hunstanton, Brancaster, Holkham, Blakeney and Sheringham all easily accessible. The space The Engine House is set behind the farmhouse and Norfolk barns of Silverstone Farm, home of a talented garden designer, one of whose specialities is designing garden layouts, including his own. It has been imaginatively and stylishly converted, in a neo-classical style, into a single-storey flint-and-brick cottage. The cottage contains many interesting artefacts and antique furniture, and the walls are a backdrop to a fascinating collection of pictures and prints. A long, wide entrance hall links all the rooms in the cottage. Guest access Guests can access all of the space around the cottage. Other things to note A car is essential.
