Beautiful, beachy 2 bedroom cottage with parking, located in the heart of Braunton. Cozy, comfortable and full of character, and hey – we maybe a little biased - but we love it! It’s the perfect holiday home for friends, families and couples who want to experience the best bits of North Devon. You’re less than a minutes’ walk to nearby bars, shops and everything Braunton has to offer, and a less than a 2 mile drive to some of the most stunning beaches, surf spots and coastal walks in the UK. The space DOWNSTAIRS: A brand new pretty pastel coloured small kitchen with chalkboard wall feature and decent size lounge and dining area, perfect for relaxing. There is also a spacious hall way for storage e.g. coats, wellies etc. UPSTAIRS: There are 2 bedrooms, 1 king-size bedroom and 1 double-size bedroom, both come with lots of storage for those who tend to pack a lot of clothes like we do! :) Our garden space is cute and cream and houses a BBQ and a shed for your outdoor bits. There’s also a parking space at the back of the house for one car. THINGS YOU’LL LOVE: - 5 minute drive to Saunton Sands Beach - 7 minute drive to Croyde Beach - 10 minute drive to Putsborough, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe - 2 minute drive to Braunton Burrows (you can walk to Saunton from here) - 20 minute drive to Combe Martin (best place to paddle board and kayak) - Tarka Trail – just 2 mins away (perfect for cycling) - 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the Pump Track (perfect for skateboarders, bikers, scooters of all ages & abilities) - 5 minute drive to Saunton Golf Course – one of the finest golf courses in the UK - Less than a minute’s walk to Co-op, shops, bars, restaurants, pubs, green grocers, butchers etc. - Award winning fish & chips right on your doorstep - 10 minute walk/ 3 minute drive, to Tesco superstore - 10 minute drive to Barnstaple (more shops & cinema etc) - Stumbling distance to pubs - 1 parking space right outside the house - Dreamy new bathroom and kitchen - Brand new central heating system - 2 bedrooms - Travel cot provided - Small sun trap garden with BBQ (hot until the sun goes down) - Shed storage for your bikes, surfboards, wellies, walking gear etc. - TV, Wifi and Netflix THINGS WE THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW: - We don’t have a microwave (shocking, we know, we do it old school and use the hob). - The property has 1 car parking space, however there is road side parking less than a minute away for other cars or larger vehicles. - There’s also a super-cheap village car park a couple of minutes’ walk away where you can park larger cars; free after 6pm – before 9am. - Buses run regularly to Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe from The George (less than 1 minute away from the house) - We like to keep our carpets in good condition for our guests, therefore we kindly ask that all pets stay downstairs. We do not allow pets upstairs. - Read the information leaflet when you arrive as it’s jam packed with great things to do!
