Our mid century modern, speakeasy style suite is designed with comfort and quality in mind. - European Flax linen sheets, Leesa mattress, and Kiehl's bath products - Private off street parking - Walking distance to restaurants and bars - Safe, quiet neighborhood, full of mature trees, and 1920's architecture - 2 miles from the University of Pennsylvania and CHOP - 20 min from Center City via public transportation Heads up! We live upstairs and footsteps can be heard through the floor. The space Upon arriving via the private entrance, you'll find a small kitchenette (Breville microwave and mini fridge) with a white quartz bar for dining or getting work done while using our high speed internet. Wind down or get ready for a night out with the custom tile shower, marble vanity, Hot Tools hairdryer, and collection of Kielh's products. On the other side of the bar there is a large 43" TV and sofa where you can watch your latest favorites via HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or Chromecast. There is a linen closet with hangers and space to hang clothes. It's also stocked with fluffy towels, bathrobes, extra blankets and pillows. The bedroom includes a queen Leesa mattress with soft linen sheets, heavy curtains, phone chargers, and a white noise machine. Dim the lights and watch a movie via the second, bedroom TV. Our laundry room isn't fancy, but is conveniently located just on the other side of the kitchenette if needed. No need to bring your own detergent or dryer sheets. You're our perfect guest if you don't mind the occasional pitter patter of paws. We have a pup upstairs who sometimes gets the zoomies around dinner, but then settles down. The suite is a part of our home, but on its own floor separated by a door and staircase. As a heads up, there is some noise transfer between the floors, but we're happy to adjust if occasional footsteps become bothersome. Guest access In true speakeasy style, the parking and entrance can be a bit of a treasure hunt to find. But don't worry, we provide a photo guide for checking in and like to think it adds to the experience :) Once you park in the off-street parking space and enter the step-free private entrance, you will be in an entryway that includes the laundry (shared with us, but we can make sure it's available if you need it) and the door to your private suite. The parking space is very close to the entrance, about 15ft, so no need to worry about carrying luggage far. Other things to note There is some noise transfer between the suite and the floor above - mostly footsteps. We try our best to keep it to a minimum and provide a white noise machine.
